Philmont Bible Project
PHILMONT Each year, some 30,000 Scouts, and leaders attend Philmont Scout Ranch near Cimarron, NM. They hike for up to 12 days at a time through the Rocky Mountains. Everyone is welcome to attend worship services presented by the United Methodist Church. At Philmont, almost 10,000 will be given a most special gift, The Philmont Bible. The Philmont Bible is small and lightweight for their backpacks. These New Testament Bibles are made possible by donations to the United Methodist Men’s Foundation and the National Association of United Methodist Scouters. As not for profit organizations, your donation may be tax deductible. Ask your financial advisor. Please consider a donation of $10, $50, $100, or more for these special Bibles. |
